Destruction at Vicoria Place

On December the 16th in 1914 Hartlepool was attacked by three German Ships. Victoria Place is next to the Battery and so took heavy damage in the attack. It is still possible to see were sevearly damaged houses had to be pulled down and new ones put up on there place.
