The Heugh Battery and Observation point.

The Battery

This is part of The Heugh Gun Battery. Form this view there can be seen the central courtyard, the obsevation point and part of the command buildings. They are made from a mixture of both cement, used in the majority of small deffencive structures, like pill box's because of its durability and its availability, and the local limestone.
