A Coiled Pot. Evidence of special
skills.
This
is a coiled pot, and looks very much
like a drinking vessel. Coiled pots
were made by coiling the clay around
the base to make the sides of the vessel.
This gives it a very appealing shape
and design. This is not the type of
pot normally found on Iron Age sites.
This is of a much finer quality.
