What people ate? Evidence of diet/a butchered animal bone

Butchered bone

Archaeologists build up a picture of how people lived by looking at the things they left behind. So we can tell whet type of food they ate by looking at the remains of the plants and animals. Above, there is a picture of an animal bone that has been scratched by a knife when an Iron Aged person took the meat off of it.
