Large sub-rectangular, Iron Age cropmarked enclosure at Thorpe Thewles, County Durham. Site excavated 1980-1982 by Cleveland County Archaeology Section. Central to the enclosure was a large round house 19m in diameter. A total of 9 smaller round houses were also excavated.
