Who We Are

Hone stone from Street House

The Teesside Archaeological Society (TAS) is an active archaeological society covering the Tees Valley, Cleveland and the surrounding area.

There is a monthly programme of lectures held in Stockton Central Library with speakers varying from professional archaeologists and University lecturers to experienced amateurs.

During the summer there are visits to local excavations and opportunities for fieldwork.

The Society issues an annual bulletin and monthly e-newsletters to keep members informed about archaeology in the region.
