Tees Archaeology is the official archaeological
service for the four unitary local authorities
of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland
and Stockton-on-Tees.
Tees Archaeology has the responsibility to record,
research, conserve and inform about all aspects
of the archaeology of the area.
Tees Archaeology employs
seven full time members of staff and is based
at Sir William Gray House, Clarence Road in Hartlepool.
Tees Archaeology also employs fieldworkers on
temporary contracts
on
a project
basis.
