Anglo Saxon Norton : Gallery

This is a copper alloy toilet set that was found in the grave of an adolescent aged 15-21. The earscoop has a squared flat top with an oval hole. This allowed it to be suspended from the attached knotted wire. The pin is tapered to a point with a flattened top section at the other end.
