August 1977. A complex series of cropmarks visible from the are covering an area 200m x 200m, sw of Stob House Farm. Crop-marks consist of rectangular enclosures with house sites. Possible pits are visible and a rectangular feature.Drift geology - also till. The full extent of the cropmarks is not fully evident on the current photographic coverage. It appears that they may extend further to the south although the riper crops at the time of photographing do not show this.
