Walk Date and Events All theses public walks are aimed at being easy 2-3 mile walks, with a talk on the World War heritage of the area. Booking is not essential unless otherwise stated. Tuesday, 9th September - Greatham Walk. Meet outside Greatham Community Centre at 10am Walk approximately 3 miles
Saturday, 13th September 2008 – Hartlepool Heritage Open Day - the project will be participating in this day.
Monday, 22nd September - Headland walk (wheelchair friendly). Meet 7pm outside the Heugh Gun Battery. Walk approx. 2-3 miles. Tuesday, 23rd September - Hartlepool Headland. Meet 10am outside the Heugh Gun Battery. Walk 2 miles
Tuesday, 7th October - Brickworks Loop. Meet 10 am in the carpark to Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park. Walk from Cowpen Bewley to Greatham, approx. 4.5 miles.
Saturday, 11th October - Greatham Walk. Meet 11am outside the Community Centre in Greatham. Walk approx. 2-3 miles.
Tuesday, 21st October - Crimdon Walk. Meet 10am outside Pond World at Crimdon (at the bottom of the road past the caravan park). Walk approx 2 miles. Saturday, 8th November - Seaton Snook Circular via North Gare. Meet outside the Seaton Hotel, Seaton Carew at 1:30pm. Walk approximately 5 miles.
